Let's Play...What Did I Fry?

The Setting: My Backyard.
When: Friday Morning
Time: 3AM

So a buddy and I are pulling parts out of a parts car I just bought and have been doing so for several hours. The previous day I had closed my seatbelt in my 'vert (der) and killed the battery so he brought a new one over.

After a few hours of work I decide it is time to put the battery in. I don't notice that his terminals are reversed from mine. So I briefly attached the juice backwards...oops.

I saw a small spark below the UIM and the Alternator and first thought was...crap...alternator is fried. However...everything seemed to be working except my interior lights on my doors. Replaced a fuse, those were fine.

I then went to flip my headlights up...no go. The lights come on but the headlights themselves will not raise mechanically...any suggestions as to what I might have fried or where? I thumped the relay I thought might be stuck but no good. =(

Thanks!

check your under hood fuses, that happened to me once when I got a new battery. Mine was just a fuse that blew.

Checked the fuses under the hood...none were blown.

Just one of the under dash fuses. I'll check again =)

I should have known if it involved electricity in any way, shape, or form I probably should have just PM'd Hailers or IceMark.

Maybe I'll PayPal him a beer.

PM me your PayPal Hailers and thanks!
