I have my RPM limit in the PFC at 8100rpm. The other day, I missed a 2-3 shift at redline and the peak value on the commander showed 8350 RPM! How could the motor be allowed to rev up this high?

Also, is there any damage in setting the rev limiter lower when taking the car to a body shop or for valet drivers. Will it hurt the car if they bounce it off the limiter?

 

I don't have your problem yet I want to increase my rev-limiter to 8.5 or 9 thd RPM. How do I change that on the PFC and is save? I have a single Turbo from APEX'i and 1300 cc injectors by Shane.
