I'd like to trade you for some working ones! I bought a Seibon CF hatch and it won't close properly with my dampers.

Go figure -- I replaced my original worn out dampers with these a few months ago.

 

Dk is that you? You painted your FD?

 

Not sure if mine works, or if it is just the weight from the Mazdaspeed wing. lol. But I would love to trade you at SSX.

if no one has any worn out ones, you should be able to find a pair at a junk yard.

Maybe if you used one instead of 2, that might fix your problem???

Thanks ... I entertained that. Oh sure it doesn't blast the CF hatch up as I pull the lever, but it's still raised up on whichever side the damper is on enough to stick my finger under it. It took my hatch a few days to flatten itself out after I removed them.

I don't know how many FDs there are in junkyards, and then what proportion of those have blown dampers.

FYI...there used to be another user with the name 'DK' who had a Single Turbo'd Blue Mica FD. However, it's clearly not you because YOU'RE NOT NICE!

 

Hmmm ... well I've had the same black FD since 99 and I've had this username for that same period (see Mar 2001 join date ... after this place was reborn in Feb 01) so methinks we have an imposter!!

I have struts that worked before I installed the 99 wing, but I also have new ones I havent installed yet. You can have mine when I take them off. I also happen to have a stock FD cat which worked the last time I had it on the car. You can have it... as long as you come and get it. My beater is smaller than the FD and I refuse to put a used cat INSIDE the FD.

PS. Dont take anything personally in the west section, we will just pick on you more!
