carbon fiber under tray

Hi i was wondering if anyone has ever done a full carbon undertray and if anyone has any tips? Any info would be greatly appriciated.

No one has done this year. Not overly complicated. Just requires planning, measuring, and lots of material.

the reason im doing it is b/c my friends do alot of carbon work and they are getting in preresined sheets, and they are only going to charge me for materials, no labor, and they want to make a diffusor and kinards, so they can make molds.

Unless reinforced large flat areas of FRP or CFRP are a major bad idea as they are very brittle. That is why on race cars which hit the ground often these ares are layed with reinforcement which usually comes in the form of aluminium honeycomb and gives flat ares of FRP or CFRP a much higher strength.

Basically stock undertray is the way to go.
