I remember your build thread about this kit. I hate to admit it but, that's not bad!

you really need to paint the corner of your headlights (the part connected to your bonnet), either fill the missing gap with yellow or redo it with a black border, the way you have it now ruins the flow of the car and its obvious somethings missing there, im sure it will look much better once you fill in the gap. Ive attached a couple of pics.

ps. i dont mean to sound bashful or anything, i also have a fortune kit arriving on the 22nd of april, will post pics once its completed =)

stop bashing, understand that everyone has different taste and dont forget that the veilside fortune rx7 won best overall car in the 2005 tokyo auto salon.

If it won the best overall car in the biggest car show in the world, maybe theres something wrong with your taste? =)

Except for the type of lambo door kit you used which makes the door hang off to the side, I think it looks awsome. Fitment looks excellent.
P.S. When are you going to give us a discount on your wheel line-up??

very nice,
I haven't seen this kit on any car except the one in tokyo drift
I like the yellow better than the orange

I didn't like the look at first but it is growing on me,
I guess I would have to make my final decision in person

Why stop there you might get a better feel if you took her for a drive.

Vince when do you want use to stop by to drive the car?

I am allowed my opinion. OK granted the craftsmanship is there and top notch but this particular kit does not compliment the FD at all in my opinion. I wouldnt pay 1grand for a kit like this.

My taste is impecable and I can go for a clean understaded look or extreme as long as it goes with the body lines.

Like extreme.........

or

and for understated........and this is my perferred look

But to the Iforged guy...congrats on tackling such a major project or who ever you paid to do it.........

Car looks good, but I think you made one crucial mistake when you built it and that is with the headlights. You didn't black out the outer edge of the headlights like on the original fortune car...

Here i did a quick photoshop to compare, the left headlight is what i think it should have been done like... otherwise, its put together well, not my style, but at least its well done.

I love the fortune widebody kit. Although, I think yellow would have been the last color I'd ever pick. I just don't get the whole bumble bee look. I would have to also agree that it would look a lot better if you finished the trim around the headlights and painted the trim black. Look at any other fortune kit, it's suppose to be that way. I would LOVE to see that kit in something classy like all black or silver/black. I bet it would be incredible.
