Seriously. I want to be a mod so I can shut down all of these "What's the best rotary shop in [my city]" threads. Are these noobs being serious? There were that many rotaries that there are rotary shops in just about every city in California?

The replies of "I did a search and didn't find anything" is getting really annoying too. Yeah, doing a search for "rotary shop in butt-****-egypt-city-that-doesn't-have-a-rotary-shop" isn't gonna get you too many hits. Yeah, I know... doing a search for just "rotary mechanic" brings up too many hits. Guess why it brings up so many freaking hits. It's because noobs go and create a brand new thread instead of searching and reading through all the noob threads that came before.

Can we instate a rule where we start banning people for creating "Need help finding a shop" and the sighting threads? Since everyone's left the board and we don't hijack those threads anymore, they just don't add any value to the west region. Yeah, I can probably just start hijacking threads like the old days, but I'm a little out of practice.

Btw, for those of you keeping track, I've been bumming smokes for the last couple of weeks. I blame wackyracer for getting me started again.

Well, If it bothers you so much perhaps doing something about it aside from complaining would make you feel better.

For example, put together a thread that has address's phone numbers, and names of all the shops in CA... maybe not all the shops.. just the better well known ones. Then when they do search, it will pop up "Master rotory shops in CA list" and that would be easy for them.

It sucks when you search for something and you get 90 pages, and theres maybe 1 thread that has the info your looking for, but its 37 pages in..

if the noobs would use the search button instead of making new threads, the search function itself would be MORE useful to EVERYONE because you would have to go through less crap to find what you're looking for, FFS USE THE SEARCH BUTTON NOOBS!!!

That's actually been done quite a few times. I thought a sticky thread with all the shops listed was supposed to be done awhile back....guess not.

Also, we should also do a sticky thread for people who needs help passing smog and how to contact the smog hookup king, Wackyracer.
