First time the car's been out of the lair in over two months...didn't wanna sand in the garage...
...started fiberglassing...first time ever doing any kind of real body work...welded badges and rear tail marker shut, and practiced bondo and filler-ing...shit's purty cool.
...I think I may have used too much hardener and resin, this first time around...I got scared. We'll see how this turns out.
Huh. Well, that's interesting. Hey, its not like the car was in mint condition to start with, and at least you didn't put a V8 in it Bring it to a local rotary get together.
wow.. interesting.. looks like it will come out pretty nice looking.. different for an fc for what ever.. that is a really unique idea.. good job.. kinda reminds me of an elcomino(spl?), but with more class.. lol
I have thought about doing something similar with a 1st gen, but I would extend the back a few inches and use a tailgate to make loading easier.
I have a nice 85 in my back yard with a dead motor, and I am thinking of doing something with it this summer, maybe a roadster and maybe a Ranchero! Hey, maybe both! I have done a few backyard hack jobs.
Here a couple of pictures of a Rennspeed concept car, based on a 911, which I photographed at the Geneva show in 2003. Of course the rear engine makes the whole thing impractical - the RX-7 is much better suited.
Ill be the first to say I hate it. lol
Id rather have a subaru brat!
id rock a brat but id have to do a whole sti drivetrain swap into it first my freinds told me i was crazy for wanting to do it but im into cars that out of the norm.
