I have thought about doing something similar with a 1st gen, but I would extend the back a few inches and use a tailgate to make loading easier.
I have a nice 85 in my back yard with a dead motor, and I am thinking of doing something with it this summer, maybe a roadster and maybe a Ranchero! Hey, maybe both!
