So.. This is a new Thread to have Steve to come again to Florida..

It was great to have him before and will be even better to have him comming again.

There are some Who needed some parts for thier cars So hopefully we will try to have it at a Rotary shop incase we need something they would have it.

Lets try to get this list filled to try to get Steve before Dec. if it is possible !!

What happens with this deposit if something changes and you aren't able to attend?

 

is there anyway we might be able to have him come to the gulf side? I know someone who owns a shop up by tampa near 60 and 75, they have a load bearing dyno, which is perfect for dyno tuning. I would have signed up and went to the last one but without a decent tune on my car, no a/c, and the 4 hour mid-day drive it would have been a very bad trip especially if it rained. I know there are a few rx7's over here in the tampa area that also would be in on it. let me know if this may be possible, I can call them on monday, I am sure they would be more than happy to have us there and I would defineately be in on the tune.

 

Well incase you decide not to get tune, your deposit just lose it.. Unless there is someone to take your spot. it had happened in this resent tunning meeting...

well I am in Tampa and would like to have it some where closer but you know how RX7's you never know what you need til the last second. it had happened to be too.. I needed an Air temp. sensor :S thats why i didn't get tune last time.
Oo and my 7 doesn't have A/C and not the best maping. but had drove 4 hrs.. it wasn't that bad. but i had to drive at night. the night before the tunning.

We first want to know or estimate those who are for sure wants to get tune. and also send the deposits too.

 

I agree...It would be great if we could get steve to tune our cars more towards central florida.

 

^yes central florida sounds great. my car was tuned by scott over at mazsport but i had a boost leak/malfuncting profec and couldnt get more than 11-12 psi of a bnr stage 4. so now that problem is gone i would love to have it retuned.

 

Some friendly advice....

For anyone that is wanting to get tuned (doesn't matter who tuner is). If you are planning on getting tuned it would make things go a lot easier if you already have everything for your car. Don't rely on having a shop to provide parts if needs be. If the car is needing parts then your car is not ready to get tuned. About the only thing one should need the day of a tune is race gas (if car calls for it)...other than that you should have a fresh set of plugs installed and whatever little bugs worked out prior to tuner touching the vehicle.
I know **** happens especially at the last minute....but its the little stuff like that than can make things go smoothly.

 

Damn.. i could have tuned my car with out the Air temp Sensor I wasn't sure if it is going to matter that much or not.. but it is too late now :S


So no one is ready yet to have Steve come back for tunning ?????????????????

I need to but i cant get much help on the PFC forum to decide how to get set up. I am also waiting on my V mount. in a few weeks probably.

 

If you want, you can call Steve and he maybe able to give you a head start for you PFC.

We need this to get rolling guys.

I might've missed it but is there a tentative date or date range for him coming in? or do we specify.? thanks for the welcome.

 

my car is actually ready, I am in on this for sure, I have the parts but I dont want to put them on till the last minute because I already waited like a year without driving my car hard and without boosting much, so I am going to enjoy it now that it is tuned, and when we set a positive date, then about a week before I will bolt on my new manifold and a do a few other things because then my tune will be off and once again I wont be able to enjoy my car.... so I'm just waiting for a date

joe...glad to see that your car is comming along and you have all the parts but unless everyone sends in their deposit......steve will not set a date. if you want to try and push people to get this done, a tenative date and place usually work, but make sure that everyone sends their deposits

 

if anyone is following this thread how we do this ASAP at Pettit, I'll probably send my money in this week, just being lazy.
