what suspension setup?

I have a 93 r1 with a ls1 going in it in the next couple of weeks. The car is mostly street driven but does regularily see road course. (I live an hour from heartland park ionin kansas) does anyone have a recomendation for suspension setup. I want the same spring rate front and rear, coilovers are ideal but doesn't have to be. If possible I would like to stay away from tien, just personal preference. Nothing retardedly pricey either. Thanks

You do NOT want the same spring rate front/rear, especially with an LS-1 in the car!

How much track experience do you have with FDs?

if you have to ask what you should be running, then equal rate front and rear is probably not for you...

call a suspension manufacture and talk to them about spring rates on their coilovers.

try doing it in stages. use just koni's to start with stock springs. $600 i think. will be huge improvement. then with more seat time, get the ground control conversion ($600 adjustable coilover kit) and pic your spring rates.
i may have some GAB true coilovers (not a conversion kit) for $750 in a few weeks for sale if you want.
