Bathurst coilovers?

Anybody know the bathurst coilover spring rate they are Showas by the way. Showa is Japanese company they specialize in motorcycle suspension. If anybody knows how a car with bathurst would handle etc please your knowledge will be much appreciated.

Are you serious? Nobody what so ever has any idea of what the bathurst feel like or have rode in one with them. Anything?

Get ahold of FDNewbie, I've been looking at getting a set of Showas from him. He said they feel a little stiffer than the R1s IIRC.

Well the Bathurst production Mazda RX7 beat all comers for 5 years in the production 12 hour race at Bathurst NSW Australia, including Porsche's factory effort all 5 years, Ferrari, Viper, Corvette, etc etc. The FD won all 5 years the event was held.....This was using the factory springs (albeit they got to measure every spring to find the matching sets) The Bathurst edition came out for the last two years in response to Porsche 911 factory built race cars in the last 4 years.

Named the Type R, this link gives info on the car

haha funny i had these coilovers and i thought they were generic for the longest time. i bought these for really really cheap too from some japanese parts recyler place around la. the guy was like oh yeah these are jdm rx7 drifting coilovers from a 02 model and i didnt really care cause my stock suspension was beat and it was cheap. i think the suspension is great and way better than the stock setup but i havent driven anyother setup to compare.
