And since he decided to show up in this thread, Karack is one of the best engine builders in the state. He is in NorCal though. Just thought I'd mention that since he is way too damned modest.

karack and i used to have gang wars before we drew the line at fresno. he's got the north side, i got the south side

he also happens to be just about the only engine builder (besides myself, of course) that i recommend.
