my friend wants to race me with her 55 amg. i dont want to go into a race that i might lose esp. to a HER haha so what is the forecast? i have a sotck motor with a m2 flywheel, m2 clutch,short shifter,downpipe,exhaust,and probably going to run 12lbs. the amg is stock of course.. so what do you guys think?

I know about a dozen guys with modified and stock AMG version cars and have seen them run many times as well as beat several SL55 AMGs and S55 AMGs and C55 AMGs in my old FD with 10 to 12 psi, Power FC, DP, CB, stock intercooler, stock modified air box designed to improve forced induction. I beat them even worse after adding the mid pipe and Supra fuel pump.

If nobody has goofed up your FD and it's a sequential twin in good condition and you have cool intake temps you'll win. Run with low fuel and no passenger. Get the chick to bring a friend in her car with a video camera for extra weight. That CLK 55 is slower than all the other AMGs I beat. Run starting in second gear from 45 then run through third and then shut down. You'll be about five cars ahead.

 

you will not beat her. my FD was about 290hp and one of those took me like i was standing still on the freeway.

 

Unfortunately with traction control and 6spd auto.
I think the AMG wins it.

When you lose, give her a guilt trip (obviously your girl is paid, and not bad looking either)
tell her to buy your *** a single turbo and supporting mods.
then race again.
