i need to rebuild all my wiring harnesses. they are getting really old and crumbly, and i cant afford new ones. i think it would be pretty fun to make new ones, i just need to know if every bit of interior wiring is the same gauge. it all looks that way. what gauge is it anyway? does anyone know?

im sure there are different gauges like for the fuel pump and of course, the starter and battery... but what about the stuff that plugs into the computer? thats like all the same i think. it doesnt really say in the FSM. that i've seen, anyway.

also, on page 50-25 i think, the wiring diagram for the egi-turbo-emissions part. it shows the oxygen sensor wiring, which plugs into 2d on the em31 connector, but it also shows a dashed line coming off it which joins with a dashed line coming off the knock-sensor and goes to 3g on the em03 connector. actually, the line from the knock-sensor goes through the knock-control unit, then continues to 3g on the em03 connector, but the dashed line on the knock-sensor bypasses the knock-control-unit and joins the dashed line from the o2 sensor and goes to 3g on the em03 connector. jeebus... what the hell does all that mean? it is the only place in the manual where i see a dashed line connecting things.
