EXHAUST LEAK - coincedence? i think not

So when i had my clutch fork replaced, the guys at RRR had to literally hang on my downpipe to move it out of the way to get the transmission back into the car...i said thats probably not a good idea, but they did it anyhow "it'll be fine" response.

So now i have an exhaust leak right at the turbo, what should i DO?!?

how much damage could hanging a 150 lbs person from the DP do?

how far should i go? fix the leak or replace the turbo cause who knows what else is messed up...????

V band, or stud type? If just a stud type downpipe.. replace the gasket and retorque.. that should bo it. If its a vband.. something might have got tweaked.

Go to Fantasy muffler Western and Manchester. They'll have you fixed before you can ask how much....and then they'll only charge you $20 bux. Those guys are insanly fast and cheap.

I would take the car back in..They Caused the leak ,they should fix it..why should you fork money out for some **** hangin off your Exhaust,..In my Opinion they "EFFED UP"..and you should bring it back to Either fix what THEY caused..or Hand them a bill for it ..(Jhammons01 has a good suggestion too..if you don't want the "hassle"..)..Good luck RX7_Fanatic..

If you get it done, just make sure those ******* don't weld over the leak and call it a day.. I seen catbacks welded to down pipes... and I wouldn't surprised if those ******* tried to weld the downpipe to the turbo. So becareful where you take it too.

its probably just the gasket guys, the manifold is a cast HKS one, i was just overreacting. I talked to Troy at XS and he was really cool and even hooked me up with a power pack II ignition amp while i was there =)

doesnt change the fact that it was dumb to hang off of it but its not that serious i suppose, unless i replace the gasket and the leak is still there...O_o
