Need a little help on Diff. Bushings installation

Hey guys,

I am in the middle installing my rx7.com differential bushings, I got my differential mount off. But I can't get the muont to sit just right in the HF 12-ton shop press.
I read about needing to buy 6 pieces of bar stock. Now, I know why.

Does anyone know where to buy cheap metal bar stock for this in SF or the Peninsula? I also need something to press out the stock Diff bushing's outer metal ring. I'm guessing a big-*** socket will do. I hope they make one big enough. I only have up to 30mm. Any ideas on where to get a socket/press guide, too?

Hey Rockshox,

This info is great, Thanks! I was able press out the Diff bushings last night using the stuff that came with the press. I may have to buy the metal bars later on.
