Have a dilemma...

Trying to get the FD to SS8 - or just running in general, hah.. but my shop hookup over here is goign to Arizona on Friday to race... so I can't get it done.

Basically.. the turbo I am getting has a 3.5" V-band. My downpipe is a 4" pipe with V-band. I bought a SS reducer from burns and it goes from 4" to 3.5" - the turbo has the v-band flanges included but I need to cut the 4" flange, and then weld the reducer and the 3.5" flange to the downpipe. Then I can hookup my turbo.

If anyone in Socal has time on Friday afternoon to do this... that would help me out a shitload. I'll pay whatever you think it's worth (within reason) - you'd be doing me a hugeeee *** favor.

Oh FD is my DD - woman starts new job on Saturday. If I don't get'r running, looks like I'll be taking the bus..... seriously, lol.

If this is all off car at the moment why not go to a exhaust shop and have them do it? quick and most likely a reasonable cost

 

Cause my TUrbo doesn't get here until Friday afternoon - and it has the flanges with it. So I can't take it in until around 4-5pm on Friday - most places close at 6pm so I'm screwed on that route.

 

The muffler shop is the hot ticket. Any Midas could handle this for you....at 5:30. Or in the morning on Saturday.

lol. Good timing Rene. Im planning to go to your shop too on Friday to remove the 3ft glasspack in my 1st gen. I wanna be loud for SS8.
