i like the looks of an FC without pop up lights because it doesnt make the car look so dated. Who owns this car so I can ask how he did this?

they look good but they won't pruduce much light, only straight ahead, sideways and downwards is just blocked off by the body.

I dunno. I'd rather look dated than homemade. While his lights don't look "bad". They definitely look homemade. Besides, I love the look of the pop-up lights.

I think it looks like a nice job in the pics! I have been wanting to do the samething, except have black surrounding the lights and put in bright "fog lights" in place of the front parking light and make the flash to pass the parking light. This would help w/ illuminating the road. Does anyone know the maximum legal height for fog lights?

I don't know what the max height is, but My stock ones are lower then the min where I live. so my car is illegal in BC right from the factory LOL
