S4 and S5 TII primary ports different

I had a couple irons sitting side by side and noticed that the primary ports from S4 differ from the ports in S5, both are from T2 motors.
Was anyone aware of this, cause I sure wasn't.
Which port looks like it flows better?

YES.
The S4 turbo opens 10-degrees EARLIER than the S5 turbo.
Therefore, the S4 center is better flowing.

Probably just the primaries for better emissions.

Vacuum 2ndary plates will stay shut on non-dyno emmisions testing as was done at the time.
