Vacume lines with a singel turbo......

How should the vacume lines be run with a single turbo?
Also awhile back I remember somthing about a vacume canester that eliminated alot of the lines and cleened up the engine bay, i was wondering where to get one or how to make one.
Any diagrams would help too.
Thanks in advance

One line to the wastegate, one to the Bov, and one to the Wastegate Controller/Boost Controller, I think that's it... The Single is considered a reliability upgrade due to the fact that 90% of the Lines, and Check valves are removed... the unreliable part comes when yu try and milk 800hp out of a tiny Turbine....

Whats up with the yellow line? That line doesn't make sense. Maybe I'm missing something. FPR line can go to any vacuum source after the throttle body.

It's the green hose and there is a nipple there from the LIM

You can eliminate the blue lines if you remove the canister.

Wait isn't that just a vacuum nipple on the lower intake manifold were the yellow line runs?

That is not a vacuum nipple, the yellow line is used to help fuel atomization at boost.

whoops got it hooked up wrong. If running single turbo were can I connect the yellow line to? Is it really necessary to run the yellow line? We are talking about the metal nipple on the lower intake manifold correct?

Ok well I had the wastegate line running to the fuel atomization nipple, gonna reroute the wastegate line to the nipple on the lower intake manifold towards the fire wall instead. Then run the atomization vacuum line to one of the nipples on the upper intake manifold after the throttle body. But can I T the OMP vacuum lines together and run them to one single vacuum source? Or does each oil jet need there own seperate vacuum source? Will that set up work ok without any problems? Thanks for the help...!!

it's for when the throttle is shut (not under boost).

it will help you idle. I had a problem with my idle on a TII and never had a bac so it was sensitive to load changes. That made a big difference. Fuel will start to collect on the manifold.

you can T the omp nozzles

Thanks, so can I just hook up the fuel atomization nipple to one of the nipples on the upper intake manifold after the throttle body?

Sesshoumaru thanks for the help. My turbo compressor housing doesn't have a nipple tapped into it. So can I just connect it to the upper intake manifold after the throttle body? Anything negative happen? Or should I just plug it up? Thanks again..

How do you have you wg hooked up?

When at idle the buttterflies are shut. Air has a hard time going through that (there is little holes in them). In order to get more air where the primaries injectors are they use that vac line. Because of this it has to be on the intercooler side of the TB.

Capping it off won't effect much (this isn't a huge deal). It will be less efficient at idle and you have to tune it a bit differently as the AFR will change.

Sesshoumaru thanks again for the help. So now that I got all that cleared up. Now I'm running the Profec B Spec II with the HKS standard waste gate. Now I have Com hooked up to the top nipple on the waste gate and the NC hooked up to manifold pressure. I then connected the side nipple on the wastegate to manifold pressure (upper intake manifold) as well. Sound right? Trying to check and get everything together for tuning. Thanks...!!
