20B monster in process

Club President of the Norwegian Wankel Register is currently building a 1.gen

Under installation is a 20B, Turbo II gearbox...

This is going to bee a sick mother.....!

i didnt think anyone has done that conversion for a first gen but if you can prove me wrong please do so. i know a shop in SD that was thinking about doing that to a first gen. i told them i wasn't sure of anyone who had done it before. those are awesome pics BTW

It's sortof been done. An Aussie that goes by the Hitman has a 3 rotor build out of 13b's in his 1st gen.

When you can make enough power out of a 13B-T that the car wheelstands and breaks traction in every gear, even using slicks, then there is little point in using a 20B.

Still, it's a good project, and I wish him the best of luck.

I have not ran this one at the track but I did run the fc that I had with engine before and totaled it.

The hood has been modified, and it closes like the original. Sorry about the pics, ill ask him if he has bigger ones.

That is quite a car you have there! Hard to keep traction in 4th and maybe 5th gear with that engine/turbo? I have one question though, I looked at your's and all the other cars you have pictured and they all have no air filter. Why don't you guys run air filters?

you guys in PR like to run the turbos with no filter dont you , also whats witht he rotary in the truck and samurai with the stock tII intercooler and no hood scoop, that would make it pointless...
