IGNITION stutters and wont idle

Hi i just installed a new street ported motor and the power FC but now when i start the car it wont start on the first try and wont hold idle and when you look at the commander the leading and trailing are off. The trailing isnt following the leading like it should. if you have any suggestions please tell. thank you!

when you say they aren't following each other, are you talking about being the same number under vacuum? They'll be the same number until you hit positive manifold pressure, then the split comes in. Just trying to clarify.

Since ALL new engines are harder to start and are tighter (more friction) , you SHOULD always crank up the idle speed a little before trying to start. This is a MUST for easier starts.

Have you tried doing this, the first obvious solution for any engine that will not stay idling?
