repairing/making fiberglass
ok here what i need help on.. I just bought a used c-west headlight cover off the "parts for sale" section ... the person that sold me the headlight cover..didn't tell me it was broken..it was missing the piece that you screw on to screw to the car (if you know what I'm talking about) .. it looks like that part was broken off .. I pm and emailed him ..that it was broken and about the problem but he doesn't reply...
well now i'm thinking about is to make the piece again.. and was wondering how to make fiberglass... or solution of making a additional one..

Is it replacement??
Do you want modifications done to them??

ok I think I know what you are talking about.
Go to the hardware store and get 4 "L" shape brackets and some fiberglass cloth and resin with hardener.
Then measure the distances on the stock headlight cover for the bracket placement. Then fiberglass the brackets to the cover.
hope that makes sense.

Holy ****, you're the man. The bracket on my stock headlight cover cracked off and I never thought of that. You just saved me 100 bucks. Thanks
Well I hope that you are having fun doing that. Make sure that you scuff the area before trying to make the bracket stick to the headlight cover.
If you wish to have them copied and made the same for both sides, I know that my guy would do something like that for sure. Here is a pic of the one that he just finished.

Yes he did.
The back is fiberglass, but the resin he uses has a smooth feeling to it. It is because there is a wax content in it. Also his business card is there.
He is looking for where the brackets go so we can fit it for the car!!!
