call me stupid, but answer my question, what is a FB/FC/whatever else

I'm fairly new to the board, so could you explain all the strange words you use, like FB and FC and whatever else? Thanks.

FB=1st gen, FC=2nd gen and FD= 3rd gen Rx-7.

Also in all 81 up RX-7's, the lettering is in the VIN... On 79and 80 RX-7, they are FB's LOL even though the VIN begins with sa22c

I beg to differ Mike. What is your source? How did you come up with that? If you call an SA22C car an FB, what do you call a CD22C car? An AP? Nah, that would need to be the CD23C. For that matter, what about a PA136? Better yet, a PA236 (gotta get the sundowner in there). Do you have any idea what I'm talking about?

Heh I have a GAN with a rotary in it I bet only two other people on this board will know what I'm talking about
