the rotors will not fit over the FC hub. But the calipers bolt right up.

i was just thinking of doing some brake work today, and was wondering how much of an advantage the 3g calipers would be. Think I'm better off going with the 3rd gen calipers or better rotors and pads with my current calipers? Money is an issue too...

Its not a very good bang for the buck. I had a set of very low mileage FD calipers lying around, so i just threw them on for the hell of it. They stop just as good as the stock calipers, only difference was a little firmer pedal feel. In my opinion, the stock calipers are fine. Im going to be getting the k2rd big brake kit for track events.
