About to buy a 83 few questions

The car is 3 years older than me, 50k miles and garaged kept through both owners. My question is do you think this is something someone my age and desire to run it hard can handle or do you think I should pass it off to someone who will take care of it religiously.

At your age, you can run it hard AND take care of it religiously. If it's in good shape, buy it. Have fun, but respect it - you'll get hooked!
