Hi,

I'm looking at a 88 rx7 TII right now, If I don't get it, I will probaly be looking for another one soon. I liked everything about the car when I looked at it, but the roomyness, I understand its a sports car, and its going to be a little cramped, but can anyone think of anything I could do to increase the legroom and head room of the car? I fit in it well enough to survive, but I would like more room, I'm willing to do a bit of work, or spend a decent sum of money to make this car more fitting to me.

Any ideas...(new seats? moving the mounts back?)

BTW I'm about 6'3"-6'4"

i did custom monted seats in my fc and i lost headroom and legroom...i can only think of one solution( unless you have the money to test fit many aftermarket seats)

you can remove the upholstery and shave the foam...which supports your back anf butt...but it will probly only give you 1 inch if you are lucky....theres no room to mess with in the bracket area...as far as stock seats its pretty much as good as your gonna get.......sorry
