Question Air Dam pics for Kaminari & Wings West

Does anyone have any pics of the Kaminari or Wings West front air dams...I don't think they are made any more (at least their website doesn't list them). One place still lists them without pics.

Also, while I am at it, can anybody tell me which air dams are these?

If you have any other cool air dam pics, go ahead and post them, but be sure to list who makes them and where you can get them (and tell me the rim size of the cars in any photos while you are at it).

Thanks,
BTC

I am assuming the Australian 'Ultima' kit is unavailble in the US and/or cost prohibitive?

If I'm not mistaken, the WW kit is the same as the Mazdatrix/Erebuni kit. It's the kit I've had on mine for years.
The 1st one is definately Xenon. Just looked at the VB catalog to be sure.

I checked out the SelectMaz Ultima kit. They have a large number of kits, most of which I don't like that much, one which looks very similar to the Mariah SCCA legal one, and then the second pic above. The rear and sides are not all that pleasing to me, but I really like the air dam.

I did write to them to see about prices, and some other questions.

Another question...on the Mariah Mode 4 vs. the SCCA legal...what about it makes it legal, or what difference is there in the Mode 4 that disqualifies it from SCCA?

Finally, what is FRP and why would I want that over fiberglass or whatever other materials are out there?

Thanks,

I dont have the rule book on me but...Sports Car Club of America rules generally states the use of production body parts for competition use of which the Mariah Mode 4 is not... that one is a complete bumper replacement/ airdam.. the SCCA legal one is a Pacific copy which is added onto the stock bumper.

Just thought i would help out here. The Wings West kit is pretty much teh same thing as teh Erebuni kit only different sideskirts. The Wings West site doesn't have them, but Nopionline does so i emailed them about it and this is what Wings West had to say:

these parts are still available, but we have no images of them.the
price is
as follows:

rear $178.00
side skirts $258.00 pr
street front air dam $189
large air dam w/light holes $238.00

nopi would probaly have a better price on it.

thanks, peter
==============================================
If you go to Nopionline.com you can get each piece separately for about 570ish bucks shipped. The Erebuni kit on nopi is 701.97 shipped (i know because i just ordered it this morning). Don't bother trying to order teh cheaper Erebuni kit on nopionline... even though the pic is teh same, it was discontinued.
Hope this helps.

yep #1 is a urathane add on xenon for the 81-85 the 2nd pic is select maz's ultima? kit and i must say that car looks good... not wild about the flames but its deffinatly got a new looking body kit. and if memory serves me right you have to rig the front dam to fit. it seemed like a real hack *** thing to do for such a cool looking front end. do a search i think about 6 mts ago there was a huge topic on this kit.

He has the muscle to back it up

That particular car "Freknu" is listed as having 560 HP @ the wheels and is the 400 mts in 10.24 sec @ 144 mph.

You can read more about the "Freknu" car here.

I inserted another pic of the front end below, and I am talking to them. The fitting is a concern, but I know it can be done right (see pic below). I am just afraid it will look bucktoothed if I don't get the skirts and rear, which I really don't want that much.

As to NOPIonline...well, that answers that, because that was what I was looking at. I guess I can settle for the Mariah for the other car. Let me know how it works out with the kit you bought.

Thanks,

Yes...
Front
Rear
TexasGunRunner... you can still buy the other Erebuni kit at Nopi. There are two there... there is one for like 570 bucks and one for like 640 bucks. Don't bother with the 570 dollar one cuz it was discontinued. However, if you get the 640 dollar one you will save a lot more than the one on Mariah.
Hope this helps.

Freknu's kit was not done by selectmaz, to the best of my knowledge, however selectmaz does use the same kit.

I believe its a body kit for a Holden Commodore (Holden = australian Ford), modified to match our cars.

Even the kit from selectmaz does not fit perfectly bolt-on style.

There was someone who had the Wings West body kit on their car stock, but it was cracked so they took it off. I have a pic of it, unfortunately i can't load any images on this server because it hangs on me. I can give it a shot...
