s4 sport package, a few questions.

I'm not sure the year of this car, i just went to check it out a few days ago and still haven't gotten ahold of the owner. The car has sat for 3 years and the motor went under water according to a friend of mine that knows the owner. The car has two dents in it, the paint looks to be good (just coated in film from sitting) and the interior is mint. What is this car worth in your oppinion? I hear this sports package is really rare as well, does anyone have any pictures of a car with a sports package? i've searched for hours for a picture of one.

go to my link in the sig. rotaryrockets2000 and look for my car. Sorry the car is dirty but it is a sport. It basically means the rubber wing front bumper moldings and rear side molding thigies. They also come with the stiff suspension and usually no options like sunroof and a/c.

I had what I thought was a sport 86, 15" rims/tires with dual piston calipers, rear rubber spoiler, roll up windows, but mine had a sunroof. It had been repained, so wasn't sure what it orig. said?

They don't have any special tags if thats what you want to know. None of the pix I have seen say anything but Mazda or RX-7 on them.

They have four piston calipers not two piston.

The cars with the sports package had a drag coefficient of 0.29 while all other RX-7s have a CD of 0.31

any FC, regardless of it's model, that has been underwater and has been sitting for 3 years is worth no more than $400 if that. submerging even just the bottom of a car in water is not good. that's why you can buy hurricane/severe rain flooded 2000 BMW's for under $20,000.

I would agree that if the car has been subject to water damage, I'd steer clear of it. The ECU and CPU and many of the electronic components could have been fried, or damaged enough to cause you major problems...

If i have to i can swap the gsl-se motor and ecu into it that i have laying in my garage. I had planned on porting the SE rotor housings and building a "hybrid" motor for this FC using the FC rotors and intake manifold.
