lighter rotors and a redesigned Dynamic Effect Intake.
Whereas the DEI on the GSL-SE is essentially a box that pulses the intake waves fro port to port, creating a sort of pseudo supercharge, the DEI on the 2nd gen 13B has a smoother, more rounded inner chamber that fills in the dead spots and makes for better pulse tuning.
There may be other differences as well.

As far as the AFM, I was throwing around the idea, and I'm not sure if it'd work, but are they interchangable between the SE and S4? The fact that the SE has the square entrance make using an adapter for a cai pretty much nonexistant. I was thinking of getting an S4 AFM, so I could just use an intake kit for one of those cars....

The GSL-SE afm is NOT compatible with the 2nd gens. Any of them. They will physically plug in to each others plugs but the internal circuitry is different. Also the 2nd gens have 2 wires that are somewhere between 5 and 8 volts going into the afm where the GSL-SE has only 12 volts running into it. There is a way to actually modify the curcuitry but the values on the swingarm of the afms are much different and it still won't work properly.
You can adapt the intake manifolds from the 2nd gen to work. It takes a little bit of effort but can easily be done in an afternoon. Primary port runners are different sizes and need to be adapted. This is easy. You still need to use the GSL-SE afm though for the above reasons.

dude, really, i'm not trying to be a tool ... but are you changing the question everytime someone gives you an answer? maybe it's me ...
anyway ... what is you plan/goal for the car?
the SE's motor is VERY different from the Gen II motors (S4 and S5) which are A LITTLE different from the Gen III motors - a few pieces aside.
here's something that helps with some of the 13B-REW stuff, but it's not clear what you want or what you want to try ...
i seriously doubt you'll be in a situation where the differences between a 13B-T and 13B-REW are going to matter - and they are slight. in fact, the S5 13B-T is VERY similar to the REW (port size, mounting points and ancillaries aside) - so what exactly do you want to know?

i dunno about sk8r dude but i think when im ready to do my swap (which wont be for a long time) im gonna go with the 13B-REW and im going to give it twin TO4E turbochargers, and an aggressive periphial porting...as for now all i can afford is to keep my 12A and give it mild streetport
