oil pressure guage

Hey I still havent connected my stock oil pressure guage back yet, and for connecting it you ae supposed to connect it to the oil pressure sending unit and the condenser. What the hell is the condensor? I searched through the FSM and the haynes manual and I couldnt find any kind of pic for it.

Are we talking about under the water/oil cooler?, because I allready ditched that thing. The only thing like it in the area is the place for the temprature guage sender.

I'm still unlear what this thing looks like, or where it is exactly. Is there a picture of it anywhere?

your not talking about the oil pressure sending unit are you? I allready know about that. The wire going to it connects to it and something called a condensor.

I just don't know where the condensor is, or what it looks like.

The Oil Pressure sender is on the driver side, on the rear plate. It looks like a "Golden Mushroom"

If you still need help, let me know, and I will take a pic for you.

sorry, I know what the oil pressure sending unit looks like, I'm looking for the other thing that connects to the wire called the condensor.

On the oil pressure wire from the car, there are two connectors. One clips on to the oil pressure sending unit, which I have connected and another wire connects to something in the same area called a condensor by the haynes manual and the factory service manual.

little thing ontop of the engine in the rats nest. i sold one a while back and i have to go out and pop my hood. it is a small round cylinder item with a single wire comming out of it.

That is the only condensor i can think of i went out and took the wire off my car and the sensor worked fine so i have no idea what it actually does.

well I havent wired it up, but as soon as I get my new intake manifold I'll try it.

However, mabey the FC motors are different, but I didnt see an aditional connector in the rats nest, I'll find out tomorrow when I rip out my intake.

well I pulled my manifold off today I and I didnt see any connector on the rats nest. I guess I'll have to try just hooking it up to the pressure sending unit, after i put the new manifold on.
