Idle
I got my ECU preprogrammed from SRX7.com for intake, dp, mp, catback, FMIC, stock turbos and motor. I am breaking in my motor and am worried about the 2700 rpm idle. Will this come down? Will this hurt my break in? Thanks

High Idle
It sounds like you have a vacume leak somwhere. Plus check the
air screw setting under the throttle body and set it to about 1 turn out. I know that with my pfc and the factory setting of 2 turns out I had 1500RPM idle.

It has idled itself down to about 1500 with the screw all the way in. My brother's PFC took about 2 weeks to idle down to 750 but I was wondering why it takes this long... I just put all my vaccum hoses back on (silicone) and am 100% positive they're all correct and on tight. What part of the vaccum system would you think it is? I don't think vaccum controls anything for the idle. I thought the idle was controlled by the ISC, AWS, fast idle cam, and the adjustment screw you were talking about. I believe it's the Power FC that is causing the high idle and was wondering why. If anyone knows please let me know so that I'm not worried.

I would install the stock ecu just to see what the idle is. If it doesnt idle right you know its the car. If it does idle right it sounds like you need to send the PFC back to Ray for adjustments
Later,
Later,
I've put it a few of them and they all start out with funny idles but after a few times of cycling them, starting letting it run and shutting it off, and driving it around a little. the ECU gets acclimated and settles down. The high idle won't bother break-in because you're not placing load on the motor like when driving...
If it doesn't settle down after that give Ray at SR a call and he'll definitely get it straight for you, he's really good with his customer support and he really knows his stuff...

Still idling high
Hey, I have driven my car around for a few days now and the idle starts out around 1750, then drops to 1500, then when it warms up goes to about 2200 and stays there. Also, it surges while cruising at a constant speed. Any thoughts?
