Does it have normal power, or does it feel really weak?

Something might be wrong with your secondary fuel injectors... What about in neutral, can you rev it above 4k then? Does it seem to take unusually long for it to rev up?

I had the same problem once and it was just a loose connection to the fuel injector. They tend to get a little loose after a while. that's where I would start.

Is the cable binding? Sounds like you can't get WOT.

Before you mentioned fighting with the peddal, I was thinking you had switched the plug wires around. Might want to check that too.

But does it rev normally, or seem to take a little longer to get there? And when did this start? was it a gradually increasing problem, or something sudden. Have you overheated recently?

still trying to find out, fixed most of it, check the power wire coming from the main fuse box, it may be grounding out somewhere
