New to the board, just wanted to say hi

Let me start out by saying this is one of the better online forums I've seen. While the speed of the server could certainly be improved, the content, functionaily, and demographic on here is good.

I just purchased a white 1984 GSL-SE for $500 in decent running condition. It will be used as my daily driver to save miles and wear and tear on my Stratus, which I am in the process of installing a turbo on.

Anyways, I am excited about the purchase and, while I won't be modifying the car much if any, I think it will be a fun car to drive and I look forward to learning about the rotary and the RX-7 heritage. Thanks

Sweet man, I just saw a GSL-SE for sale in autotrader for $650. No where near me though, oh well. Welcome to the forum, and enjoy the new 7 .

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully I can get this thing to pass the safety inspection and emissions testing here in Utah soon. It has been sitting for about 2 years, according to the previous owner, but still runs great.

Whaaa? I think you've got that backwards....make the SE your turbo project and the Stratus your daily driver!

Welcome to the club....these dudes on the forum are great, you will learn a lot, you will never leave....sometimes I think i keep my car just so I can have reason to use the forum...

Right on.
