how would i hook this up in my s2 rx7??

have you got an o2 sensor installed ?

 

if you have an autometer air/ fuel gauge (and basicly all air/fuel gauge) you have to get a single wire O2 sensor like one out of a S4 rx7's and make a hole in the exhaust near the manifold and weld a nut big enought for the O2 sensor. and hook the purple wire to the O2 sensor wire. then the red wire to a pos cable coming from the swich and the black that is the ground. is simple

 

so there is no way of doing it unless i have the o2 sensor plug in.

i dont think i will go to that much trouble

 

it's easy as....just go to an exhaust joint (if you haven't got a welder) and ask em to put in an O2 sensor bung. Probably cost less than 60 bux...

Then the sensor just screws into this.

For the sensor the VT commodore ones are meant to be pretty good aren't costly.

 

I got one...it's worth it.

I recommend a heated o2 sensor instead of a one wire model.

Sorry I should have added that bit is for Aussies I was referring to a Bosch heated sensor that is in the VT commodore...an aussie car

Basically a heated one just has three wires. 2 for power and earth for the heater and then the signal wire. Some even have 4 wires with the eatra wire being a earth for the signal circuit.
