Hmmm, my son decided to attempt installation of a new radio. He said the power lead he connected to the battery touched some wire in the dash and suddendly the car will not turn-over. Main fuses under hood look OK and replaced one fuse inside car. We tow started the car but it would stall if I took my foot off the accelerator--plus there was a constant low level beep, beep tone. Any words of wisdom? Could this exercise have damaged the ECU which in turn will not allow the starter to engage or...? Could the care be in some theft deterrent mode--if so, what is the fix ?
