Talking Yey My 1st gen is back!

Well a few months ago I posted about how I got into a accident with my car. After being heart borken for a while and having my parents try to convince me to buy a new car, I took the advice of my grandfather ( the coolest car guy I know ) and started to fix My FB. I got pretty lucky, We called up J&R in elmont NY ( smoking joes ) and they had a full gsl-se susspension, ofcourse I jumped right on that and had them install it. After that I started on my search for new rims, I searched for months and finaly found a nice set of slightly used Work Ewings from japan, 16x7s in the front 16x8s in the rear. We put in tokico blues all around and racingbeat springs. We also rebuilt the stock carb and threw in a se Tranny. The car drives better then it did befor i crashed it , getting into that accident was the best thing that has happen to her! We ( when i say we i mean my self and my bf danny/serzy19 ) also did a few other little things like rebuild the brake callipers and messed around with the msd. For now the I have to live with a messed up front bumber but in september she will go into be painted ( the paint job is owed to me for beaing my dads slave on our fishing boat for the past 8 years). Here are a few pics of the new rims on the car sorry the center caps were not on, ill take som new pics and post them soon. I also must say thank you to all you guys on this fourm, i may not post much but i do read everyday and most of what We have done has come from the helpfull information, hints, tricks and tips that you guys dispence free of charge on a everyday basis, so like i said THANK YOU! you guys kick ass!

those rims are uber sexy. in my opinion it's hard to find new rims that will mesh with a car as old as the fb, but those and panasports pull it off very well

Any "Chick" that is into cars, especially rotaries, is hot, in my opinion. Remember, there comes a time when talking to each other becomes more important than anything esle. Common interests are very handy at this time in life.

Nice car! Those 5 spoke wheels are one of the very few changes I approve of.

Man you are forward! Whatever gets you the ladies...

I love those rims though. They look great on your car and compliment it very well. What kind of tread does it have?

i highly agree. if i could find a girl that was into cars, esspecially the rx7. communication is a very big deal, im tired of dating girls who only like shopping and cheerleading. also, on another note, i looked at her myspace and for everyones info, she is hot. ill give you props on the car, it looks really great and the wheels are a great match.

I did post about what happend to the car a while back. it was in the middle of winter i slid on some ice about 2 blocks away from my house. I did about 2 360's, The front end went into a fence and the rear slid in to a curb... It really sucked, The one drver side rear rim was totaly destroyed ( i had a set of Kosie on there befor ), the rear axel looked liked play doh, the front bumper is still all messed up. it was just bad.

to bad about the front. The axle is easy enough to replace. Sounds like you had someone do it. I had one that had been done the same way. The watts link was bent, you might want to make sure they replaced it when they did the work.
