Gauging Interest for a DynoJet Dyno Day/Meet

Gauging Interest for a DynoJet Dyno Day/Meet

This is not for a tuning day.

This is for a day to get a couple of pulls on a Dynojet brand machine so that we can bask in the glory of the over inflated numbers these wonderful machines provide. Ever wondered what your car really puts to the pavement?

I arranged this several years ago and it was quite successful since it was a good meet and we had about 15-20 cars pass through the dyno. I will be using a different dyno location. I will be confirming the location based on interest expressed here and at the rx8club.

Spectators are welcome. This is not just a dyno meet, but also a chance to get together. We’ll get a BBQ going and have some beverages on hand.

WHEN: Saturday, June 21st, 2008 10:00am onwards

WHERE: TBA

HOW MUCH: $40 for two dyno pulls, first to pay gets there choice of time slot

PayPal $41 -> charngill@osgoode.yorku.ca

Or $40 cash, all must be prepaid in advance. You can arrange to meet me via PMs if paypal is inconvenient.

Please don’t send me money unless you hear that this is a confirmed event. I would need to see a list of at least 15 cars to make this happen.

I was only looking for a 2wd dynojet and I have made tentative arrangements but I can inquire about 4wd locations if there is interest.

Try Paul at Neetronics or Marco at Magnus. Both have 4wd dyno's.

Would you believe I'm waiting on those GReddy gauges I ordered from August 13 of last year?! Apparently, all of North America are on back order for the new style ones. Titan Motorsports assures me they will be here this week! After this I'll close the cabin up, fill the fluids up and she rides! All this before a 4-wheel alignment.

$40 for two pulls is a good price. If I have a few mins to swap carbs between runs count me in. I want to do a stock carb and manifold vs. my Sterling and ported manifold comparison (literally takes 3 minutes to swap)

Sorry for the delay. It has been very difficult to secure the pricing I got last time with the limited interest we have this time. I am going to speak with one more shop today to see if we can make it happen.
