Did you already get it? or are you thinking of buy it? im told it works pretty good, but you'd probably have better results with an E6X, technically the Interceptor is the same kind of hardware inside as the X, but piggyback style.
But, you should be aware that Haltech now has Plug N Play applications for FD, for E6X and E8. They're even coming up with a replacement harness for when using E8 to connect to all the factory sensors and be able to run LS1 coils.

Yup, you've read me right. There will soon be available a replacement harness for both FC series 5, and FD RX-7's, that will substitute your factory engine harness and will be setup for LS1 coils, so you can purchase an E8, replacement harness and LS1 coils and be good to go, getting rid of all the factory solenoids and coils.
But, if you'd still like to use some of your factory stuff, and even run your factory twin turbos sequencially, you will have to make sure your PWM outputs are free to do that, or, i would recommend you get a regular flying lead harness to connect each and everything properly.
I recently worked with an E6K on an FD to get the stock twins to work sequencially and got it to work perfectly. There is a post around here about it HERE.

Why?
The stock harnesses are crap.
The S4 uses a narrow-range TPS that is practically useless for the Haltech.
For the price you pay for a brand new (flying lead) Haltech harness, it's peace of mind to install all the new wiring.
If you're not able to tackle this by yourself, you should have a good shop take care of the install.

When ever i do a piggyback installation on a car with a TPS like on the S4, i only use the air flow meter as the main load reference. In the case of the interceptor you will probably need to do the same, but im unaware of the results.
