Thumbs up RE-Speed : Front Lightweight Shock Replacement Group Buy

Let see if we can get this rolling, this are for the shocks replacements shown here:

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/re-speed-lightweight-shock-replacement-959987/

As soon as I get 10 sets called for I'll open up the group buy for it. The group buy starting price will be 65$ for the set, normal price will be 75$.

These will be for stock FB bumpers, with the properly drilled hole for them. Direct bolt on, no modification required, just unbolt the stock one and bolt these new ones on.

This is only for the front, the rears still need to be designed. I'm going to try and go to the junk yard tomorrow and see if the one SA is still sitting them, I'm sure no one would of stole those off of it yet.

Count me in for the 2" for the FB.
It really updates the appearance of the front.
I almost fell outta my seat!

in for 2" shorter. the only downside is i won't be able to use the front bumper as a coffee table afterwards. i'll have to modify the front body work underneath the bumper a little, but totally worth it :P

Any chance of this going through? I still want it, and I'm about to pull the front end off of my car to install an oil cooler so it would be a convenient time to install it.

There's a set on a car currently for testing. We had to do a couple of small teaks though which is why they haven't gone in production yet. Now you can stand (tested with a guy weighing about 140lb) on the bumper and there won't be any bending at all. The price may change a bit due to these modifications as extra hardware will also be included.

This group buy is officially open now:

http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=490

I don't have an updated picture of the new ones but will be up shortly.

They will start shipping out as soon as we have at least 6 sets sold. I'll update the list as they go.

I messaged Sam and got him to ship out the other stuff I ordered awhile back. Haven't heard anything about the bumper shocks in months, so I've asked for a refund and am awaiting a reply

So what's up with RESpeed? Seems like we're not the only ones having trouble getting any response or parts. Still haven't received a reply about a refund.
