syn oil, no not the same old debate

I just read a post on another car site, where the poster claims that once you run syn oil in your engine that you can never return to conventional oil. I have never heard that before, any truth to that? He claims he runs syn blend so that he can go back to conventional if and when he wants.

I've never seen any evidence to support that claim, even though I've also heard it. You should be just fine switching from one to the other.

Off topic, but one of my friends swears that once you go electric shaver, you can never use a razor blade to shave. He probably thinks once he tries to use a razor blade, his face will melt.

As for synthetics and minerals. It wouldn't make your car blow up changing from one to the other.

think about it. the myth is that if you switch it'll eat your seals. If either oil did that, that means the oil is corrosive and you have bigger problems than if it's synth or not.

biggest. crock. EVAR
