Thumbs up Who wants REAL indiglo gauges?

Ok, I stumbled upon this site, I dont know if they are legit (the site looks nice anyway ), but they have a "model development program" where if they get enough people (10) to buy the gauges they will start making them. I kinda like the idea. I personally really want some reverse indiglos, but they are ~$69.99 per buy in, and the regular 2 color indoglos are only ~$49.99. Plus you need 20 buy-ins for the reverse indiglos. Its up to you guys to start the whole buy in process cause I have no money, but as soon as I get some, Im gonna try and start this or something...Anyway, just informing you of something I thought to be cool...

Ok, last post. It just occured to me that the RX-7 has like 3 different dashes . I guess we will have to fend for ourselves and try and get these made for the car we want them for...Oh well, good luck, and if anyone starts a buy in, let us all know so we can help you get your gauges .

~T.J.

PS - One last thought...maybe someone could fork over the $500 to get the initial ten sets made for one specific car, and then resell them to other people later privately?

I want some reverse indiglo gauges for the FB, will anybody else join? I think these go with the car the best because only the numbers light up, as with the car.

And it would be sweet to have gauge that says 10 000rpm It would also go well with the new Tach I'm buying. It just happens to be R-1 as well.

I AM DEFINATELY IN.

V8Kilr was working on these If I remember.
Let's give him a chance to come through first!.

If not, Then I am definately in for the reverse indiglo syle. My custom dash will be ready very shortly, and changing from Orange to Blue was an Idea I had a long time ago as well.

A Carbon Fiber style Reverse Indiglo is what I want.

I would definately like to have a set, as long as the price doesn't get too bad.

talk to dave (v8kilr). i think he needs a little motivation but he was working on these. he also has templates for every 1st gen gauge cluster now, i believe.

how about the plastic bit in front of the gauges? V8Klr, do you have a template for that piece? I was thinking of making a facia for it that would make each gauge seem like it's ringed in metal (kinda like the new Tiburon, much as I hate to admit it)

I have no desire for aftermarket anything that doesn't improve power/handling/acceration properties.

But looks cool anyway. My car is too much of a cop magnet already and its not much different looking from stock.

I'm thinking a lightweight metal dash kit or a black with polished metal gauge surrounds kit. That won't help your gauges going nuts but they'll look nice as they do so *L*

So is anyone going to start a buy in, or are we just waiting for V8kilr? Just kinda wondering...
