Waz Yellow '94 in South Africa
Hi Guys,
Im new to the forum but spoke to a few of you in the "Introduce yourself" section. Anyways...
Picked up this beauty the other night. Spec list:
Streetported Engine
Mazdaspeed Bodykit
SSR GT-03 Wheels
Greddy Intercooler
Greddy Compression tube
ACT Clutch
99 spec front and rear lights
Splitfire Gauges
Koni Adjustable shocks
Mazdaspeed Racing fuel pump
Rotora Big brake kit
GT35r turbo kit
Synapse 60mm wastegate
Turbosmart SQ BOV
Koyo Racing radiator
Apexi Power fc
Fibre Glass custom vented bonnet
Turbo timer
Greddy boost controller
First pic taken of the car when picking it up:
On the way home the night we got the car
After a wash and getting some rubber off the side of the car and cleaning it up a bit
Engine still needs a wash and some attention but all in due time
Meaty brakes and SSR wheels look lovely
After the wash we started stripping the exhaust side of the engine to take the manifold off as there was a slight exhaust leak and the seals have perished in the turbo so it was smoking quite badly.
Car should be back on the road in a week or two. Needs a good polish and a general once over and then I will be happy with it
Thanks for looking guys will update soon

Thanks alot guys.!!
Turbo has been diagnosed and seems gonna cost over 600$ to fix here in South Africa. So I purchased the same turbo same size wheels and housings just not the ball bearing type for $650 new
Gonna be installing it in a few hours. Will take pics of old and new turbo

New Turbo, and odds and ends
Hi guys a bit of an update for now..
Turbo was replaced as the turbo that came with the car's seals were buggered. My father and I tackled it ourselves one week and got it done!
New and old
Took the cooling panel plate that came with the car off as it looked all bent and cut skew. So we marked off some areas that needed to get cleaned up and cut more and got a new one made
Shot of the interior
Took the car the other day to get the street tyres put on as it was on a set of Bridgestone semis
Random shots of the car

Whats up dude, good to see you on this forum.
Hope all is well with the car, mine has been a disaster so new engine arriving in a week then onto putting it in and redoing everything I did to the previous motor.

Hi guys been a while,
Eventually got the car insured and been using it
Car has been going very well. Been to a few shows with it and to a Dyno day.
The only problem i have come accross is the turbo oil drain hose is leaking so I am going to sort that out today
Car also went in to get screamer pipe done as the dumptube went back in to the downpipe when I bought the car.
People checking out the engine bay once I opened the bonnet
My car with an older generation Rx7 at a show this passed weekend
At a VW show I went to LOL
My new key with my car in the background
HKS airfilter I bought
Sadly we will need to modify a few things before it can fit.
Going to a photoshoot this weekend so hopefully they snap some nice pictures of the car. Also going to raise the boost a bit in the next week.
Cheers for now

Dyno Graphs and Pics
Hi guys
Oil feed line from turbo to sump has been sorted!
Also raised the boost slightly from .4 bar to .6 bar!
Later that evening decided to go to a dyno evening to see what figures the car is making
283hp - 208kw
Polished the car for the first time the other day
Some pics from a photoshoot I went to with the local VW club

Hi guys been a while
The car has been running so leka im very happy with it! Gonna turn the boost up soon though[emoji1]
I also got stuck in to the boot the other day! I had to throw the biscuit spare wheel away as it woouldnt fit over the BBK! Got a spare 18" wheel but now the boot carpet wouldn't fit over the wheel so made our own boot carpet.
Did the ducting for the oil coolers in black the other day as the aluminium colour looked kak
While I was at it I sprayed the mesh in the sideskirts and the fender in black as the guys who sprayed the car didnt remove the mesh when spraying the car! Looks waay better now!
Got some llumar tint on the windows as well! Was getting 3rd degree burns driving without window tint
Some pics from the passed few months
