whats a used low milage fd motor going for now days?
with turbos and all the stuff that goes with it.
Search, They usually come with tranny, turbos, everything, but sometimes a clipped harness, but the harness is for a RHD car so if your car is left hand drive you can't use the harness anyway.
the reason I'm asking is because I'm pulling a mazda reman w/33,000 miles out of my car. the turbos were replaced at the same time and mazda did the work.
motor is still strong w/no problems so I don't want to ask to much for it but at the same time I don't want to ask to little.
why am I taking it out, I was high and decided to do an engine swap so the motor and trans are coming out.
I'd say about $1500-2000 would be a fair price. Might be able to get more selling each component individually - turbos, manifolds, injectors, etc. That would just take more time and work, though, than selling the whole works as a unit.

I sold my short block, tested on a crank table, ran for 2 hours, put on new front cover gasket and new pan pan seal for $1500 shipped.. But that was for a friend..
