turbo simplification pics

I removed the airpump (installed a midpipe) and though id do the simplification while i was in there:

Here is one of rx7store.net's block off plates:

I used the bottom part of the old solenoid rail as the foundation for the solenoid remaining after the simplification.

I have the stock fuel system so i kept the fpr solenoid, here is apic of it part way though the rerouting:

You used silicone tubing for a coolant hose? Unorthodox.

hey jonski, ...by the way thanks for all ur great posts on the simplification, those helped me a great deal, especially on the fpr deal...

silicone is fine for coolant from my limited understanding, it is a no-no for oil and gas.... i run evens at zero pressure so the only issue is heat, at silicone easliy takes the heat level of the coolant.

am i wrong?

heck, my radiator hoses are silicone :-)

Where did you get the resistors for the solenoid plugs? Or do you have PFC in that car, (can't remember between the 2 you have.) I tried radio shack and they looked at me like I was from space!! " I've never seen a resistor that rating" BTW: Looks better with the pressure tank under the UIM. Aybody had any issues with the tank do to the heat it is now exposed to?( I.E. : cracking or melting?)

hehehe Jim,..... yellow is cool!!!

on any other color I would not use yellow, but it contrasts with the MB very well, and im kinda artsy fartsy so i like it.

"Contrasts" is right. As for the "fartsy" thing... too much information.

I was wondering u know that vac line going no where on the simplification diagram i'm curious where it goes to? in the simplification diagram it looks it should go to the lim where it has those 4 nipples are. How did you hook the pressure chamber up?

Very very good damian! I want to do the non-seq simplification myself. I give you mad props for doing it yourself with great info back to us. I just don't have the time, spec, or real tools do really do this myself. Someday I will be able to do anything on my car myself Again, thanks for all the great info and pics damian!
