Just ordered my RB dual-tip!
I ordered one from the RX7store. I was planning on buying the S03's on before anything else, but I'm sure it will still be a couple weeks or more before I can safely wake up the 7 and take her for a salt-free spin. I will have enough saved by then and I won't really drive the car hard at all until I have used up most of my tank full of 4-month-old Sunoco 94 w/sta-bil and gassed up with a fresh load!
I'm looking forward to a couple things here --
#1 - Making the neighbors happy, avoiding tickets, and being very "stealthy" on the road. With my mufferless straight-pipe that I have on there now, it is just way too loud and now that the DP is on there as well, it almost sounds like a toilet gargling at idle! I would HOPE that with the RB dual, especially considering me doing a hi-flow in a few months instead of a MP, I will retain a nice quiet sound at idle so's I don't have to worry about annoying anyone in my neighborhood ever again. This is especially important because I like to sometimes leave at midnight (or later) for a Friday/Saturday night cruise.
#2 - It's sleeper time, baby! I look forward to returning the car to a completely stock look. I just hope the RB logo isn't too visible. I've seen some pics of them white and some without any white lettering, do you add the white yourself or did someone just strip it off? One way or another though, It will look sweet!
I should have it in a couple days, I guess I have to order the bracket from Mazda but I plan on doing the install this weekend.
I guess my only REAL question is, are CB installs pretty easy for someone who has done both a DP install and Fuel Filter replacement?
Thanks guys!

Mine looks different than that. I got my from rx7store in a group buy and it looks like this:
I got it about 3 months ago maybe.
I love mine, it sounds much better than the HKS I had on it before (and looks a lot better than the 5" tip did).
You won't be disappointed.

You had to undo the hangers? I just slid the old HKS out of them and slipped the RB right in without any problem. The only problem I had was the RB used the stock mounting bracket that I didn't have because the HKS didn't use it.

I have the RB dual, with a dp and resonated mp. Its quiet at idle, almost non-existant cruising at 3k and sounds really good at W00t. Nice and deep But the white lettering is on the other tip, on the inside so you cant see it. I guess RB fucked up and put the right tip in the left position?

Constant threat
Mine looks just like Azaka's, but on the car you can't really see the logo. It doesn't look "ricey" at all, regardless.
I was really impressed with Racing Beat, but then they HAVE to be one of the oldest rotary guys around. I well remember they were like the ONLY one when I bought my FC new in '86. The Rotary Rocket magazine had all sorts of good stuff to say about them, even back then.

Here is a quick vid. I think its loud, but its alot better than some other mufflers out there. Non-Seq, DP/MP also has plenty to do with it. I like the tone though. Gets ALOT louder when I hit it.

Thanks for the replies, guys. And thanks for the vid! It sounds REALLY nice! I couldn't hear it at all when the revs dropped between shifts, but it has a very deep and crisp hum to it when you are accelerating normally.
I imagine starting the car up for a few minutes and letting it cool down for a few minutes will never be a problem for neighbors now, noise-wise.
I can't wait!
