Engine wiring harness
Well I'm finally getting around to installing my new Pineapple engine and of course the wiring harness is fried.
Anybody know where I can pick one up at a good price?
Or where to buy the connectors that I would need if I wanted to rewire it myself?

You know a brand new one from a dealer in the bay area San Francisco is like $1200. Then again the water pump here is $300. I see used ones go for around $200. My last fd had a new harness and i loved it, nothing breakes when disconnect it. I would pay the $600 to buy a new harness. You wont have to worry each time you have to disconnect a connector. And if you ever have a problem, you wont have to worry aoubt grounded out wires from cracked insulation, high resistance in the old wires. But just make sure you route the harness correctly.

Don't buy a used harness! Those things get so fragile, and can cause problems that are just impossible to diagnose. I had an old, brittle harness on mine, and I had to have the injectors replaced. The mechanic is aware of all these issue, and so was very careful, but guess what....the car stopped running in closed loop, sending me looking at all sorts of potentially faulty sensors, air pumps, etc etc....we finally gave up and replaced the wiring harness...voila, runs like a champ.
Just think if you paid some guy $200 for a used one, and then spent all that time and/or money putting it in...you could end up with one like my old one. Not pretty.
