Ecu's And Laptops
I have a toshiba laptop but no apexi power fc and commander. What do i need in order to make my car run ok instead of getting the apexi. Do i need to keep the laptop in the car at all times? What is the point of using your computer and the car!?!?!!!?

you cant hook your pc to a stock ecu. you need a pfc and datalogit to be able to tune the ecu. unless you know how to tune i wouldnt recommend screwing around

its mostly the fact im short of funds and dont want to buy the pwr fc and figured if i had a laptop i could get away with something......but yea i never win

well a guy on here sed he could get me power fc and commander for 900 brand spanking new so i will just wait for the good stuff and spend an extra few. Rynberg----no....just no shhh

btw, ALWAYS keep it up when you're racing. That way you'll know when there's danger to the manifold.
