Arrow Buddy Club P1 QF - The "lightest" FD wheels you can buy! ...limited time offer?

OK, well Carbon Fiber is the lightest but it's 4X the money. Would you pay $10k to save few ounces if you weren't sponsered? I can tell you it "IS" lighter then magnesium!!!

So I started this group buy and i'd hate to see it fizzle out which means they will never consider it again.

These wheels will also work for street as they are very strong and won't bend from a pothole on the highway like flashy polished aluminum ones will. So please consider these wheels and help us out. thank you!

Buddy Club P1 QF ......17x9 Forged 14.5lbs
Volk Racing CE28N .....17x9 Forged 14.8lbs
Racing Hart CP-035R ..17x9 Forged 15.0lbs
SSR Type-C ................17x9 Forged 15.2lbs

Buddy Club P1 QF ......18x10 Forged 16.1lbs
BBS RE Magnesium ....18x10 Forged 16.5lbs
Nismo LM Magnesium 18x10 Forged 17x1.lbs
BBS RGR ....................18x10 Forged 19x8lbs
Porsche 996 ....... ......18x10 Cast ....23.4lbs
Dodge Viper ....... ......18x10 Cast ....28.4lbs

The only wheel I found lighter in 18's...
Dymag "Carbon Fiber" 18x10.5 15.9lbs

Well, that's up to you. Alot of guys pay alot more for light/lighter wieght wheels such as Volk Racing, Work Meister S2R, etc. Some track guys go with CCW for custom fitment. We are getting the lightest wheel possible with custom fitment at a discount! You could get 17x9+35 for about $2400-$2500 but with our club discount it's about $1800ish. That's a really good deal on something that may not happen again. Moreover, +35 offset requires replacing the front fenders with flared versions or adding flares. So with this GB, you are saving even more money not having to replace fenders if you really want these wheels.

If you can't afford these there was a killer price for Enkie RPF1's but that price is gone. I'm not shure what ARD_T2 could offer on those now but the special price is gone. So having the lightest weight may not apeal to everyone but there is a discount, so considering Volk CE28N's are about $600/ea as well this is an excellent deal. Track guys should be drooling over these!

to join the group buy! Thank you to Rishie for helping with this!

im just quoting to make sure you clarify what you mean. you say you need to replace the fenders or flare them, then you say you save money by not having to replace fenders. whats goin on?

yeah, it's not for everyone so I don't want to used car salesman you guys. Alot of guys prefer 18's for street. Some guys use 18's for track but there is very limited choices for tires in 285/30-18. Well at least that I searched for on tirerack and discounttiredirect.

Extremely lightweight wheel
Tire choices are plenty and cheap in 17" which is especially import buying lots of race tires
custom +45 offset for same width wheel allowing rotation while fitting within OEM fenders
group discount on a wheel not normally discounted

Clarification:
If you look at the picture of the yellow FD you will notice Panspeed overfender flares. This is because in 17x9+35 the front wheels will stick out too far. No, fender rolling would not be enough to clear +35 wheels. With a +45 (custom offset) the wheels clear without any problem. They currently list 17x9+35 @ $600/ea (approximately), so yes you could buy them allready but you would be paying full retail and you would have to change your fenders to Feed, Chargespees, D-Max, RE-A, etc or add Panspeed (or similar) fender flares to clear the front tires with a +35 standard (not custom) offset. ...Did that help any?

Sorry, I was trying to find the thread because I don't the exact numbers but it was something like for every pound of unsprung wieght you remove is like loosing 80lbs off the car. Those are not exact numbers, just trying to show yes it can be worth it. We all know less weight can offset less HP. So in combination of these wheels and the new Racing Brake OEM size kit you will have a very big advantage. It's too bad they don't have 16x8 or 17x8&17x8.5 then the track guys that run stock class would have a huge advantage and the competition legaly.

They also have Racing Lug nuts which I allready have.
Buddy Club Racing Spec Lug Nuts are forged from super strong AL7075 aluminum/magnesium alloy and hard-anodized with knurled ends for better grip. Buddy Club Racing Spec Lug Nuts are ultra-lightweight, strong, and have been proven in all forms of racing.

im pretty sure it is 1 lb of unsprung is like 17 lbs sprung... but yeah, a few pounds a wheel adds up... even if its 2.5 pounds different per wheel, thats 10 unsprung pounds total, which is like and extra 170 pounds on the car total... so yeah... it does make a difference..

There's only two colors and most likely the majority will choose black as white gets dirty and doesn't match as many colors as easily.

I'm closing this (like I do ALL group buy reference threads)...let's move the discussion of the wheels to the actual group buy thread. Thanks.
