Just got my engine back with a fresh rebuild and large streetport, installed the oil pan tonight. While everything is apart, for the second time, I want to reinforce things that were not done last summer.
Does anybody have any testimony or pictures of how they reinforced their clutch fork?
Yes yes, I know I am being lazy. I COULD just walk outside and take some measurements and figure it out for myself... but I was just wondering what you guys have done. Maybe what works and what does not.
I reinforced my fork by buying a new one from Ray at Malloy.
Ya, I hear that the new one part is stronger. However, I was hoping to get my engine installed by the end of this weekend... So I was thinking more along the lines of fabrication.

Ya, I had a look at that before I made this thread. Looks like there is much more room to reinforced the clutch fork on the Tii. I think any fabrication on the FD fork will have to be carefully measured from the rough measurements I made the other night...
I was just curious how others have reinforced the FD fork. What part of the fork is the most prone to breaking anyways?
